| The Coast Yuki were a sedentary hunter/ gatherer tribe. They occupied the coast from Cleone to about Rockport and inland to the ridges before the Eel River. The tribe was destroyed by gold rush era miners and settlers. There may be a few descendants in the area of Round Valley. |
